Plain English Styleについて
Plainなスタイルは、法律関連の文書をはるかに読みやすいものにし、法律の専門家また、そうでない一般の法律文書のユーザー両方に役立ちます。多くの先進国では、公的な文書は、plain styleで書かれることを推奨しており、しばしば政府の作成する文書は、plain styleで書かれることを義務付けている国もあります。plain Englishで書くということは、常に読者に文書を、早く正確に理解してもらうよう努力することを意味します。
A plain writing style makes a legal document much more readable. It helps both lay and legal users of legal texts. Many developed countries endorse a plain writing style – often legislating to make it mandatory for government documents. Writing in plain English means always striving to help the reader of the document understand quickly.
